These stylii work with any sketching/drawing/painting/notes/writing apps. These types of stylii have NO screen pressure sensing NOR any hand/palm rejection. The battery in these stylli send a tiny electrical pulses to the fine tip of the stylus, simulating a finger touch. Look on Amazon for fine tipped, so-called, “active”, battery powered ( sometime rechargeable battery powered ) capacitive stylii. This shouldn’t be an issue for most people, but if you hate seeing lag from a stylus, then it’s worth keeping in mind.There aren't ANY good stylii for older iPads and the 2017 5th gen iPad, any longer. Options that mimic Apple Pencil technology, like the Logitech Crayon, won’t work with your old iPad.Īs a sidenote, you can expect a small amount of lag from Apple Pencil alternatives.
